Required Skills:

MS SQL Server

• In-depth knowledge of SQL Server 2016 and above (5+ years) - architecture, including installation, configuration, and administration.ces

• Expertise in database design, optimization, and performance tuning.

Familiarity with high availability and disaster recovery solutions like Always on Availability Groups and database mirroring.

Cloud Platform

• Strong grasp of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Hands-on experience deploying and managing SQL Server instances in cloud environments.

• Knowledge of any of cloud-native database services like Azure SQL Database or Amazon RDS for SQL Server.

Desired Skills:

o Kubernetes Understanding of Kubernetes architecture, components, and concepts.

o Experience deploying, managing, and scaling applications on Kubernetes clusters.

o Proficiency in Kubernetes networking, storage, and security configurations.

o Containerization Understanding in one of containerization technologies such as Docker.

o Ability to containerize SQL Server workloads and manage them efficiently on Kubernetes.

o Scripting and Automation

o Scripting skills in a language like PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

o Other Skills Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.

o Experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously and adapting to changing requirements.

o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues and propose effective solutions.

o Capacity to think critically, identify root causes, and implement remediation strategies efficiently.
