To ensure marketing materials comply with the standards set by the Advertising Standards Council (ASC) in the Philippines, we are seeking an ASC Material Review Specialist.

Job Summary

This role is responsible for managing the submission of all marketing materials for ASC approval, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing the production process. The candidate will also contribute to creative material development and act as the main communication liaison with ASC, building and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge base of ASC guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Material Submission and Compliance

• Manage the submission process for all ASC materials, ensuring content fully complies with ASC regulations and requirements.
• Track submission progress and address feedback promptly to meet deadlines.

Process Optimization

• Analyze and refine material production and submission workflows to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to reduce production and submission lead times.

Creative Input and Localization

• Contribute to the creative development of materials, including copywriting, to enhance appeal and quality.
• Ensure materials meet the localization needs of the Philippine market, resonating with the target audience.

ASC Communication and Knowledge Management

• Serve as the primary liaison with ASC, maintaining strong relationships and staying updated on regulation changes.
• Develop and maintain an ASC knowledge base, providing accurate guidance to internal teams.

Requirements

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.

Work Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in material production, review, or related roles. Experience with ASC submissions is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with ASC standards and advertising compliance requirements in the Philippines is an advantage.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong review skills with the ability to quickly identify compliance issues in materials.
• Creative thinking and copywriting skills to produce engaging, localized content.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities to coordinate with internal and external teams effectively.

Language Proficiency

• Proficient in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Chinese is a plus.
