Roles and Responsibilities:

• Network planning and design
• Capacity management
• Fiber optic cable installation and troubleshooting
• Maintenance and repair of fiber systems

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Network Engineer, Network Technician, or relevant position for at least 3 years.
• Must have extensive experience in Layer 1-3 network troubleshooting.
• Outstanding diagnostic, problem-solving, analytical, and good communication skills.
• Prior experience/knowledge on the following:
  
  -Fiber optic networks 
  
  -DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing)
  
  -OTN (Optical Transport Network)
  
  -Fiber characterization (OTDR, insertion loss, reflectance)
  
  -SDN (Software-Defined Networking)
  
  -Ethernet and IP/MPLS
  
  -Network protocols (OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, etc.)
• Amenable to work night shift / US hours, including holidays and overtime and amenable to work in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
