Key Duties and Responsibilities 

1. Computes payroll budget for every payroll cut-off for funding purposes.
2. Validates the accuracy of the generated payroll.
3. Send out the Payroll Summary List to Cantilan Bank for payroll crediting.
4. Computes Final pay for Seasonal employees.
5. Records correct entries for regular payroll, final pay, and other related employee benefits per pay period in the accounting system.
6. Reviews payment request and supporting calculation provided by HR for SSS Sickness/Maternity Benefit of Seasonal employee.
7. Conducts manual internal reconciliation in the accounting system.
8. Collates and validates mandatory social insurance and loans summary for Rank and file, Seasonal employees, and SCAA personnel for the month.
9. Conducts data and financial analysis of payroll and other related accounts.
10. Responds to payroll-related inquiries and takes appropriate action as necessary.
11. Trains and supervises Payroll Assistant and ensures Payroll Assistant is organized and meets deadlines.
12. Generates Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) 2316 in Alphalist data entry for signature and distribution to employees.
13. Attends seminars and training for the development and updates of the payroll process.

Qualification Requirements

Minimum Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or Business-Related Courses.

Minimum Experience Requirements

A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the desired position.
