Job Purpose:

The Recruitment Specialist - Shared Services is responsible for the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process for the manpower needs of Global Ferronickel Holdings Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates: Platinum Group Metals Corporation, PGMC-CNEP Shipping ServicesCorporation, Ipilan Nickel Corporation, FNI Steel Corporation, Mariveles Harbor Corporation and others. It includes maintaining the employee database in the HRIS, monitoring of recruitment status and deployment including movement of employees (e.g. position, rate, department, and employment status) and preparation of all employee appointments and notices.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receives all manpower requests and regularly coordinates with HR teams across all sites regarding all current openings for sourcing, pooling, and interview schedule;
  • Review Job Description, Job Analysis Questionnaire and Departmental Table of Organization submitted by department heads;
  • Deploy manpower needed as approved by the HR Manager;
  • Maintain 201 files of employees.
  • Monitor status of recruitment and updates requesting department regularly;
  • Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings.

Recruitment

  • Observe and ensure adherence to the recruitment and onboarding process and secure approval of the MRF.
  • Report any movement/status of all Manpower Request submitted to HRD;
  • Provided status of pre-employment requirements;
  • Conduct HR Orientation
  • Conduct phone screens to create shortlists of qualified applicants
  • Conduct panel interview (Key Personnel)
  • Conduct background Investigation
  • Validate the result of Panel Interview
  • Participates in job fair
  • Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Briefing the candidate about the responsibility, salary, and benefits of the job.
  • Update the department managers the status of their manpower request

Preparation and Releasing of Employee Appointments/Notices

  • Prepare and release Appointment Letter of newly hired employees (seasonal agreement)
  • Prepare and release Notice of Extension (seasonal agreement)
  • Prepare and release Notice of Expiration (seasonal agreement and probationary)

 

Separation

  • Monitor data of all separated employees:
    1. Absence without Official Leave
    2. Resignation
    3. End of Contract
    4. Exit Interview(Regular Employees
    5. Prepare Acceptance Letter(Resigned Employees)

Human Resource Information System

  • Maintains an updated employee records and contracts
  • Create 201 file and contracts for newly hired employees (date hired, position, rate & etc.)

 

Reports

Prepares the following reports: Regular/Weekly:

  • Manpower Roster (with Comparative Data from previous year)
  • Recruitment Update

 

Monthly:

  • Manpower Report for the month
  • DOLE RKS5 (Employment Termination Report)

 

Qualification Requirements

 

  1. Graduate of BS Psychology, Human Resources or its equivalent
  2. Proven experience as a Recruitment Specialist, Recruiter or similar role
  3. Hands-on experience with the largest job sites like JobStreet.com, Monster and Indeed
  4. Knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and niche professional websites like Linkedln, Facebook, etc.
  5. Strong interpersonal skills
  6. Good written and verbal communications skills
  7. Must be willing to work on site, Monday - Friday in Paranaque City
