Job Summary

The position is responsible for handling and supervision of non-loan cases of the Bank (e.g. preparing and drafting pleadings, appearing in court hearings, mediation, among others), rendering legal opinion, performing documentation and legal research, in relation to non-loan cases filed by and against the Bank, as well as AMLA / Compliance matters. The lawyer is also responsible in handling and monitoring non-loan cases and reviewing pleadings / documents sent by external counsel. Handles cases (civil, criminal or administrative) filed by and against Bank involving non-loan matters.

Qualifications

• Holder of a Bachelor's Degree and admission to the Bar
• Proven working experience in litigation for 8 years and above
• Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices etc.
• Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail

Must be willing to be assigned in Makati and/or Ortigas.
