The Digital Content Designer (Graphic & Video Content Specialist) will play a vital role in shaping the visual identity and content output of VA Platinum. This dual-skilled position is responsible for creating high-quality graphic design assets and producing engaging video content to support the company’s marketing initiatives and internal design needs. This is a newly created role to bring design and video capabilities in-house, replacing the need for external design resources and continuing the work started by our previous video editor.

With a 60% focus on graphic design and 40% on video production, this role will support digital advertising campaigns, website content, marketing collateral, event materials, and internal communications. The successful candidate will champion the company’s refreshed brand identity and collaborate closely with the Project & Internal Marketing Coordinator to ensure consistency across all visual assets.

Ideal Candidate (Must Have Requirements)

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a combined graphic design and video production role.
• Proficiency in Da Vinci Resolve and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro).
• Experience with design tools like Figma and web design fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Synthesia or similar AI video production tools (preferred).
• Strong understanding of branding principles and visual storytelling.
• Experience working with project management tools like Asana.
• Competence in using Canva for quick-turnaround design requests.
• Employee work set-up will be dependent on the client’s discretion (Remote work is acceptable with a proper setup)

Tasks and Responsibilities

Graphic Design (60%)

• Create compelling visual assets for digital advertising campaigns, including static and animated creatives.
• Design banners and visual elements for email campaigns and newsletters.
• Develop landing page and website page visuals, aligning with the company’s brand identity.
• Produce marketing collateral such as brochures, case studies, eBooks, and downloadable resources.
• Design event flyers, presentations, and branded event collateral.
• Support the refresh of internal and external-facing branded documents as part of the ongoing rebranding project.
• Collaborate on web design projects, using tools like Figma to prepare assets for our Webflow-based website.
• Manage design requests from internal teams through a ticketing system in HubSpot.

Video Production (40%)

• Edit client testimonial videos and executive-led content, ensuring high production quality.
• Enhance webinar recordings with captions, transitions, and improved picture quality.
• Collaborate with external video production partners to maintain high-quality standards.
• Develop video content for marketing campaigns, social media, and internal communications.
• Use tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and Synthesia for video editing and production.

Brand & Design Consistency

• Uphold and champion VA Platinum’s new brand identity across all visual touchpoints.
• Collaborate with the Project & Internal Marketing Coordinator to maintain brand consistency.
• Ensure high-quality standards and visual alignment across all content and design outputs.
