As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, your role is to oversee and support the daily operations of our restaurant and to ensure exceptional guest experiences while maintaining operational excellence. You will help lead the team effectively, uphold service standards, and contribute to achieving departmental goals. Specifically, your responsibilities include:
Operational Oversight
- Supervise and coordinate the operations of food and beverage outlets to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, responding to queries and addressing issues promptly and professionally.
Team Leadership
- Communicate with the Operations Manager and delegate tasks effectively to the team, ensuring clarity in roles and responsibilities.
- Help represent the needs of the team to management and foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Provide hands-on support to maintain service quality.
Brand and Service Standards
- Ensure all services meet the brand’s established standards, delivering consistent, high-quality guest experiences.
- Regularly inspect service areas and address any discrepancies to maintain cleanliness and functionality.
Guest Interaction
- Handle guest inquiries and special requests professionally, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Address and resolve guest feedback constructively to enhance service delivery.
Financial and Operational Goals
- Assist Food and Beverage department in achieving revenue and profitability targets through efficient operations and cost control.
- Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and minimize waste.
Training and Development
- Support the onboarding, training, and professional development of team members, ensuring they embody the company’s values and service ethos.
- Assist in conducting annual and mid-year appraisals, providing constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
Compliance and Safety
- Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Conduct regular safety checks to maintain a secure and hazard-free environment for both guests and staff.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive and seamless guest experience.
- Provide support to other departments when required, fostering a team-oriented culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s graduate in Hospitality Management or related field.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the Food and Beverage industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, cost control, and POS systems.
- Flexible, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and holidays.
- Willing to relocate to Dumaguete
