職位描述

Job Summary:

The accountant position maintains the books for multiple associations on a monthly basis. The position is responsible for maintaining records within and for each association monthly. Records will include but may not be limited to assets, liabilities, tax liabilities, profit and loss and any of the organization’s other financial activities. The accountant will be responsible for preparing the financial reports by reviewing and analyzing financial data received from the company subledgers and bank information. The accountant must be able to generate and interpret financial records, prepare financial reports, and maintain the general ledger. Monthly, the accountant must examine the data to ensure all financial records are accurate. On average, each accountant maintains the records of 40 – 45 associations. 

Duties include but are not limited to: 

  • Maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, and other financials activities for each association.
  • Maintain general ledger as needed. 
  • Analyze financial data in order to prepare accurate financial reports.
  • Generate and interpret financial records and statements for each association. 

Knowledge and Skills: 

  • Knowledge of general ledger accounting. 
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures (US GAAP). 
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player. 
  • Time management and time critical prioritization skills

Software Knowledge:

  •  Citrix – virtualization platform
  •  C3 – community/property management software
  •  Strongroom – A/P software solutions
  •  Microsoft Teams – Communication platform 
  •  Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Strong analytical, organization, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Work well independently and with a team
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience
  • Experience with property management industry a plus
  • Willing to work on Hawaii time zone (early morning shift).
  • Amenable to work in a work at home arrangement.
  • Willing to be assigned in Alabang, Muntinlupa once WIO resumes.
