Job Summary

· Document the hazard analysis process, hazard identification, exposure assessment and controls

· Identify any health and safety concerns inherent in the operations daily work plan

· Investigate accidents that occurred within incident areas

Duties and Responsibility

· Carry out site surveys to see that only safe work methods are in operation, that health and safety requirements are being observed, and that welfare and first aid facilities are adequate and properly maintained.

· Determine the cause of any accident / incident / near miss and recommend means of preventing recurrence

· Assist with training employees at all levels

· Take part in discussion on injury, damage and loss control

· Understand the requirements of company’s ESH Policy and objectives

· Inspect the work daily and report any unsafe acts and conditions

· Keep a permanent record of all injuries and damage at the site

· Keep a record of weekly safety meeting on site with the subject and attendance

· Prepare DOLE reports

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree or Undergraduate

· Preferably at least 2 or more years’ experience in Safety Officer

· With at least 2 years’ safety officer experience in Manufacturing / Construction

· With COSH / BOSH Certificate
