Work Description:

• Conduct a learning needs analysis to identify subject matters to be included in a training module/program.
• Manage the Restaurant MDP which includes but is not limited to:

• Designing/Enhancing training modules
• Scheduling
• Facilitating training and certification
• Coordinating with facilitators/speakers from other departments/external parties
• Monitoring trainee’s learning progress

• Giving objective feedback about their progress to the Operations Head.
• Design, implement, monitor, and improve management training programs based on identified needs for company-owned and franchised restaurants.
• Design, implement, monitor, and continuously improve the orientation/training program for new employees.
• Assist other departments in the roll-out of new and enhanced policies
• and procedures through the holding of learning sessions, holding “big events”, team-building and other activities meant to reach out, communicate and win the support of our workforce.
• Benchmark within and across industries to determine best practices on
• Restaurant Operations that we can adopt or innovate.
• Network with external parties and develop a pool of internal learning consultants who will assist in facilitating training, coaching, mentoring, and other means to facilitate organizational and personal learning (ex. SEALs)
• Develop new and enhanced work processes which include but are not limited to upgrading and modifying training systems and procedures in close coordination with the Organization Development Department to provide corrective actions to recurring problems including internal guest complaints, as well as preventive actions to avoid potential problems
• Assist in employee selection, hiring, training, placement, movement, rewards, and recognition. Evaluate the performance of immediate reports regularly.

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 5 years experience in designing and conducting modules, at least 2 years of which in a similar capacity. With Restaurant Store Operations experience (Area Manager Level) a definite plus.
• Preferably graduate of Communication, Psychology, Behavioral Science, and Business Management in any 4-year course related to Training and Food Service Operations. Postgraduate studies are a plus.
• Must be a Certified Trainer of any reputable training module.
• Must be willing to travel
• Must have extensive computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
• Must have a valid Professional Driver’s License
