Position Title: Marketing Officer

Location: Makati (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Overview:

The Marketing Officer is responsible for developing, executing, and managing offline and online marketing

strategies to strengthen Wanderskye Islands’ and Tropical Nomad’s brand presence across island stores.

This role requires creativity, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage in-store promotions,

partnerships, marketing activations, social media plan, and content.

Key Responsibilities for Marketing:

● Offline Campaign Development: Plan and implement in-store marketing campaigns,

promotions, brand collaborations, and brand activations in all Tropical Nomad and Wanderskye

Island locations.

● Visual Merchandising: Develop and oversee the placement of POP materials, wobblers,

displays, and in-store signage to enhance brand visibility and promotion.

● Online Campaigns: Align offline marketing efforts with online campaigns to ensure cohesive

brand messaging across all platforms.

● Social Media Plan & Content: Coordinate with the Creatives Team to develop localized content

and promotions tailored to island-based markets. Ensure consistency in branding and messaging.

● Brand Collaboration: Coordinate with partners and consignors to implement special promotions

and visibility on both online and offline marketing efforts.

● Event & Partnership Marketing: Identify collaboration opportunities with cosignors, local

businesses, hotels, and travel brands to increase exposure. Assist in organizing events, bazaars,

and expos to drive foot traffic and sales in all our islands stores.

● Branding & Communications: Ensure that all marketing materials and in-store messaging align

with Wanderskye Islands’ and Tropical Nomad’s brand identity and tone. Work closely with the

creative team for store promotions and seasonal campaigns.

● Market Research: Gather insights on customer preferences, competitor activities, and store

performance to refine marketing strategies.

● Reports & Analytics: Track and analyze marketing campaign performance, foot traffic trends,

and sales impact, providing regular reports and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities for Sales & Operations:

● In-Store Promotions: Ensure that all marketing initiatives, new arrivals, and seasonal

promotions are properly executed and communicated across all island stores.

● Sales Coordination: Align with store teams to implement promotional strategies, monitor

inventory movement, and maximize store visibility.

● Customer Engagement: Monitor in-store customer feedback and purchasing behaviors to

enhance the overall retail experience.

Key Responsibilities for Product Innovations Department:

● Retail Launch Support: Ensure that new product launches and brand collaborations are

properly promoted and highlighted in all store locations.

● Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with Product Innovations Department teams to align

marketing materials and in-store messaging for new arrivals, product launches, and product

highlights.

Key Responsibilities for Customer Service:

● Customer Feedback & Insights: Gather and analyze customer insights from stores to improve

product offerings and marketing efforts.

● Marketing-Driven Support: Assist in addressing customer concerns by ensuring that marketing

materials provide clear and engaging product information.

● Data Gathering: Create a customer database for reactivation and repurchase campaigns. Help

build communities across all island stores.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

● Proven experience in retail marketing, trade marketing, or brand management is a plus.

● Strong understanding of offline marketing, in-store promotions, and merchandising.

● Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.

● Creative thinker with a passion for branding and storytelling.

● Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.

● Willing to travel to different store locations as needed.
