Qualification Requirements

• Must be a Licensed Mining Engineer
• At least has 1-2 years years direct OSH experience preferably to mining or quarry activities
• Must be willing to be relocated here in Brooke's Point Palawan

Job Summary:

The Safety Engineer is responsible for identifying and mitigating safety hazards in the workplace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and promoting a safe work environment. 

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify, analyze, and evaluate potential hazards in the workplace and take steps to eliminate or control risks.
• Conduct duties consistent with the Company’s Safety and Health policy.
• Complies and responsible to collate the legal requirements related to Safety and Health.
• Lead the project reviews/planning to ensure the health and safety matters are adequately addressed prior the implementation.
• Have an ability to discuss and lead to mandatory safety meetings or programs.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs to educate employees about safe practices, emergency procedures, and proper use of safety equipment..
• Knowledgeable regarding the government laws that align to the OSH.
• Lead and promote employee’s participation in the safety process by providing informative data, conducting safety meetings, and giving timely feedback on the safety concerns.
• Develop and review emergency response plans, conduct drills, and ensure employees are familiar with emergency procedures.
• Advise and consult with management to improve safety practices, reduce risks, and create a safety-conscious work environment.
